For some reason this reminded me of the scene in National Lampoon's Vacation where Chevy Chase blows out his tires after wrecking his car in the desert. He asks the mechanic how much the repairs will be, and the response is "how much you got?"

Well, the reason I asked is because I come across a lot of tanks for sale. Some people are asking ALOT IMO, but it might not be a lot to the next person. Hell, for the right price, I'd sale any of my tanks...

Great movie reference! It just depends on the shape its in and if it has stand etc. Ive been looking on craigslist and some people think theres is made of gold or they should get wh a t they paid for them. Do you have one?

I'm trying to sweet talk my old boss out of her husband's unused 150. It's been sitting in their basement gathering dust for a while and she wants it gone. Other than that, I have tank envy of you people with 6 footers. Right now I'm capped at 75 gallon size, although I'm making room in my unfinished basement for something larger if the opportunity presents itself.
I agree on the Craigslist postings. Sometimes they are absurd. Someone here in the Richmond area was selling a ~200 gallon tank with a healthy crack on the corner (that would make you really worried) for $1000. I don't think it included anything else. Good luck!

I know someone with a 125 and metal stand in Essex if you're interested. He was asking $125 for the tank, I'm sure the stand would be reasonable. PM me if you want his contact info.
