WTB: Hydrometer

Looking for a simple/cheap hydrometer to check salt levels while gradually raising the salt content for my new puffer. Let me know if you have anything.

Michael, I might have one lying around my fish junk somewhere (when I was doing salt, I used a refractometer, but don't have it any more). I'll poke around this weekend, and if I find it, it's yours no charge.

I tossed a bunch of stuff. I didn't think it would sell as most of the stuff I posted doesn't. I'll check, if I find it you can have it...ps I got more snails for your puffer.

For my brackish fish (when I kept them - Anableps, chromides), I'd typically just add a couple of tablespoons of Instant Ocean per water change (usually 1/3 of the tank).

Brackish fish are - by definition - pretty adaptable to one salt level or another :)
