Hey all, looking for a 40breeder stand as soon as possible. Bought a new tank, but don't trust the stand I have the old tank sitting on. Let me know, I'm in Brentwood but I'm willing to meet within a reasonable distance! Thanks!

However, it sounds like Lowes may sell a heavier duty one. I only have 1 40breeder on this one and only used 2 shelves instead of 4

I have used the Edsal shelving with good results. I did a build thread a couple of years ago when I set the tanks up. Originally, the idea came from Jesse (Verbal) who I think got it from Shane Linder.

I had some people on another forum suggest them, although I didn't get the heavy duty version unfortunately, so I built this one low and using all the double braces the box came with, so instead of being able to make two units, I was onl able to make one. The single braces are not stable at all when all alone on the shelf. Overall though, I like them
