WC Pulchers

Due to needing more tank space I am selling my last pair of WC Pulcher Daffodil. They are beautiful fish and very prolific. I hate to sell them but I am out of options if I want to keep some of the other fish that are pairing off. Pictures are of the actual fish. Looking to get 50.00/OBO for the pair. Would prefer to sell them to a club member.

Nice fish - is this a male and female pair?

I have kept and bred them in a 29 and they do just fine by themselves.
but you will have to pull the fry regularly if you want them to keep spawning.

I have one of these pairs from Greg they are awesome! The fish are prolific breeders but I've just left the fry in to keep them from breeding. I had them in a 20 long for about a month and they didn't seem to mind. I think since they are wild caught they are very shy and spend most of the day hiding.

Once I switch up my 75g stadium to a double I will have space for another 29 but right now I have bristle nose filling up all my tanks. I
After break ends I'm gonna be getting rid of a bunch of super reds so will have more space. If you still have them then then I will most likely get them.

Could they go in with dragon bloods at a pH of around 7.8?

they could but I really like to keep my Tangs at 8+ esp WC. I think the dragon bloods would be fine with a little higher PH but once these guys get ready to spawn which is always very soon. they will keep the others away at all cost.

Then that means I do not currently have a tank for them. If you still have them in a few weeks then I'll probably take them. Thanks for the advice.

A 20L may be too tight although a 33 would be fine. If you are going to try with Calvus you will need lots of hiding places and keep an eye on them. these guys get real defensive with fry.
