There is a thread on here about volunteering at the registration desk, so you can post up there. Or contact DiscusnAfricans DiscusnAfricans or MHMoro MHMoro and they can let you know where help is needed!

If you are going to be around during the day on Friday, there’ll be lots of set up help needed and after the marketplace on Sunday we’ll need tear down help.

Easiest way is to look for the people that seem busy, and ask if you can help.

Not being sarcastic, but beyond the registration desk and tank rack setup and teardown that have been mentioned above, everything else happens on the fly.

Everyone attending gets a lanyard with their name, Staff members will have a ribbon on the bottom that says "Staff', I believe its red in color.

Saturday night we have to bag up all of the fish for the auction, and I usually have 8-12 people helping, its a big job, but doesn't seem bad with a lot of people. Come on over and say hi, worse comes to worse you'll meet some other members.

100% agree with everything that's been said! The club was in charge of organizing a big event a few months after I first joined and showing up to help was the best way to get to know everyone. Your hands are busy because you're helping, but you can listen in or join the conversations going on around you.
