My friends walked out they said it wasnt as good as they expected from pixar. But thats just my friends so we'll see.

My wife and (nearly) 4 year old daughter saw it the other day...and really enjoyed it. No scary parts (for little ones) and lots of laughs.

Rob, I'll make this short and sweet and because I'm swamped at work right now.

Both my daughter and I loved the movie, especially the characters including Russell the little boy, Doug the talking dog and of course Kevin the bird.

Story was touching in the beginning so be prepared, it hits you with some strong reality about life,but then it goes UP.

We actually saw it in 3D, which made the movie stunning to look at. It starts out slow, but the adventure begins when little Russell arrives at the Old Man's door. I'll leave it there for now. By the way, the theater was packed with people from all ages, even elderly so I do recommend the movie. It is a very good animated feature and I'm sure you guys will love it. Especially the Kids!

Special effects=***1/2 stars
Story= **** stars
Director= ***1/2 stars
Characters= **** 4 big ones!
Buy or rent= a definite buy just because of Doug the Dog and Russell too...Priceless. :lol: It is worth the money to see at the movies.

Overall rating= I'll give it 4 fishes. :happy0144:

Bro-In-Law is a big Pixar fan, he was disappointed by it... he doesn't even have the excuse of taking kids... lol He loves cartoons

I like animation/cartoons as well. Some of the most entertaining movies I have seen were animated.

Lion King is still one of my favorite movies...although there are plenty funnier cartoons

G, it's a great movie for all ages and I'm sure you're kids will love it. My daughter is 13 and all she talks about is "UP" and how she wants to go see it again.
