I had one that hid all the time too. He would bury himself under driftwood or inside any decor he could squeeze into. They're nice looking, but shy and nocturnal. I would catch mine swimming aorund at night sometimes, but rarely saw him during the day.Do they always hide to that extent?
I used to have a Raphael catfish when I was in college in one of those pre-fabbed palaudrim setups. After a couple days, never saw the thing again. Thought he died.
Then, was tearing down the tank 6 months later to move back to MD and there he was, wedged in the seam between two parts of the plastic background. Amazing.
Do they always hide to that extent?
