Don't believe Ramps is selling anything other than Rio Magdalena at the moment. If you had sp San Raphael 'Gorilla' umbees you would to have purchased them from UMBEEKING on MFK. Either species is beautiful.

Yes - people have dumped all sorts of fish into the Amazonia habitat at the National Zoo. Unfortunately.

Umbees will get the better part of two feet long. Really not suitable for 99.9% of fishkeepers, but whatever floats your boat!

That's crazy ya I'm really excited to watch this monster grow up I'll upgrade to about a 200 in a year or so. Can they cross breed does anyone know what with if anything? I've got a female red devil and female jack with him for now tell he's to wild.

I guess only that 0.1% get that large in captivity. I haven't seen a umbee over 20" ever. Youtube included. On that note I would love to see them. But my bet would be that not even 99% of the umbees out there get over 20" in their lifespan.

Although I have a 5" FO Rio Magdalena from Dan. I hope im wrong eventually! Or that I make it to that famed 1%!

All I have seen are Docking. MONSTER DOVII!!! Best looking Dovii I have ever seen.

Which surprised me cause it is a south american setup.
