Trimming Val's

Do Val's hold up well to trimming? I've read tons of stuff that says no and yes......come on some one give me the true answer.

They do fine. I have to trim ours once a month or so.

they do ok.. better than crypts at least. the area you cut will turn brownish but it won't die

Nice I will tell her. I still need to pick up plants and possible other stuff from you for the 90 community tank......I hate you you beautiful tanks made me turn to the South American side
