So I win the lottery this past weekend...really...I did. How can it get much better?

Totally caught me by surprise. She was in this pot all week. I looked for eggs and didn't see anything. Ends up she had wigglers in there the entire time. There was a period of time there that she was hiding in a piece of driftwood. Must have had the eggs there and moved them to the pot. I didn't see any of the males color up. But it's all good. :D

Absolutely - other than for the fact that she's gorgeous!

On top of winning the lottery? You ARE having a good week Mo!

Beautiful!!!!! What kinda fish is she? How big does she get? And is she aggressive? She looks nice, but looks can be deceiving with your fish......

Later!
Amanda.

This particular Labridens is thretened in their natural habitat. With the introduction of the H. Carpinte "Rio Verde" they are hybridizing at an alarming rate. At some point they may be gone.

To the best of my knowledge...and I might be wrong....I don't know of anyone else breeding them in the U.S. So this is a good thing for the hobby.

Mo: Great pictures. Another fish for me to investigate. Always get my interest when you say
'endangered'.
Later,
Marge
