hit a local estate sale.. you might be able to find some at dirt cheap prices.. :) they should be the regular ones you get at home depot..

Not sure the brand name, but I prefer the type where you set the hours by sliding a switch in and out around the dial versus the type where you insert a tab at the hours you want. I got them at Home Depot and CVS.

I use the multi-outlet timers. Last time I looked Home Depot had a digital version, which works okay, but is harder to program than the ones that are mechanical.

I actually prefer the old mechanical ones with the green and red tabs over the ones with switches that you have to press down all over the place. Those switches tend to get misset for me, and I love the override switch on top. Want the lights off for a while? Done. Want them on for a bit? Sure. ANd it resumes normal operations next time around, unlike some of the electronic ones that just stay "ON" or "OFF" if they're not in "AUTO."
