While feeding both gar and barramundi going after a piece of fillet... gar snatch it first.. and barramundi snatch the gar.... but i pull out the gar... gar is "fine"

trop gar is about 15" and barra is 30" ?

I will tell you that was not a funny moment... my kids were screaming... and i was like "S**T S**T S**T S**T S**T".... 1. calm the kids, 2. get my iphone for photo... then save the gar...

i wish my hand weren't cover with talapia juice... i would grab my d3s...

At least you got the fish back out intact, I had an ornate bicher (years ago) that chowed down a baby tiger shovelnose and several little Synodontis eupterus.
