Theraps Wesseli

I was asked for some pics of these guys over on MFK, so I thought I would post them up here as well. These are F1 theraps wesseli that I picked up from the auction at Rusty Wessel's house last year at the ACA. They are now getting some size on them so I think I will move them to a bigger tank soon. The largest is probably 4-5". These were a tough fish to photograph, as they are constantly on the move and a bit skittish when I was moving around the tank.

Good stuff!

Mine are packed in with a bunch of grow out cutteri, cons and even a pike. It's far too busy in there for anything to successfully breed.

I'm scared that giving them too much tranquility to breed will give them too much opportunity to think about knocking each other off, though.
