my keyholes are very shy and they are hiding most of the time even though they are basically the top of the pack on the tank. I finally added some manzanita (than you Rachel) and they seem to like it quite a lot. They are now out and about much more often. And doesn't it looks pretty???
PRETTY, !!! I'm still negotiating with my manzanita - I have a piece I love, but I can't find a place to put it where I love it as much as it deserves to be loved.
I had wood in there but it was lower to the ground. Since this is up higher, they are more visible and more likely to be somewhere in the middle of the tank! I love my keyholes!
Looking good, Holly. I have also noticed that all of my fish were behaving quite differently when I added two huge pieces of manzanita from Rachel in my 265. Fish were more active and seemed happier. I recently added a few plants in the tank I got from Sam and fish seemed even happier. So, in return, I am happier.
