It's the only way to shop..

...on Ebay. And he's right, bidding early just incentivizes the competition.

Nice light. Even has the right bulbs.

I've sniped several of that seller's auctions; he sells a lot of store returns, often used and/or damaged items. I got an aquaclear 110 powerhead for less than $15 last year. I think he was ticked off about the selling price though, just dropped it into a box w/out any packing and shipped it out. It arrived with a busted shell, but some epoxy to hold the pieces together took care of that, and it works just fine.

Nah, he's OK.

I have to return some glass tops I recently bought and he said he'd credit shipping both ways. He's always done right by me in the past as well.

I bough the same glass tops. I should have returned them. Oh well. The light was returned unused and comes with bulbs so I jumped on it. I also just snatched a 200w Rena Smart Heater out of somebodies hands in the yesterday on my way to work. I Got it for 27.50 shipped from another guy. I would like to get in on the bulk lots he sells but the prices are too steep for me. I wonder if ye is hooked up with Drs. foster and smith.

I felt like this this kid when I opened the box. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QKwCQWjTyI0 On a side note I am surprised this kid didn't kill his folks in their sleep for laughing at him like that.

Can you say 'matricide'?

Some people suck. That might be one of the cruelest things that didn't involve physical violence I've ever seen.

"Ma'am, your child has serious issues".

"Really? I can't imagine why."

I contacted the seller. He already sent me money to send the pro 3 back. I just hope heccam locate or obtain another fixture like the one I bought.

I am not am Eheim fan parts cost too much. But it looks fairly new. Plus I want the light more than a filter. I already have 3 304's a Magnum 350 a ac70, 2 ac50, a 2227, 2217, a whisper 30 rena 30, two 501's and a few sponge filters. i have filtration for every tank.

Yeah, but surgical precision counts for something. + A. macmasteri note

The A. macmasteris are getting bigger. Look to be 4 males and 2 females left after the pair I removed to their own tank so I could get a better sense of who was who - at their age they tend to mute their colors and begin to all look alike in the presence of a dominant male. I will give you the biggest/best remaining female but chances of getting a trio aren't looking good unless you're into M/M/F and you don't strike me as the type.:D

The alternative is that I'm stuck with 3 extra males which doesn't work at all. So, the good news is I'll bring you a pair at the next meeting. The bad news is you have to look elsewhere for extra females, but one good one is all you need anyway, just ask your wife.

I forgot to update this but I for my light after the whole mix up works great. But the seller hasn't post anything else for sale since. I think the mix up cost him over a hundred in sales. And I pretty much got my light for 15 bucks because he refunded me the cost to ship the pro 3 back via Ups. Shipping cost 42.00. I took the money though about giving him 20 back. Felt kind of bad for him.
