Jeff Rapps at Tangled Up in Cichlids, a good friend of the club, has brought in some really awesome wild caught cichlids from Costa Rica. Highlights include amatitlania kanna, astatheros rostratus, archocentrus centrarchus, cryptoheros septemfaciatum, parachromis loiselli, and paraneetroplis maculicauda!

Soooooooo tempted to get more Septemfaciatus!!!

For the last month or so two of the five i have are starting to look more like C. Myrnae. They're pretty much a gold color apposed to the redish color of my other three.?.?

I've got my order in as well. It is really hard to pass up on some of the species offered, but I simply don't have room for them.

Zach - post up some pics. Myrnae have a different shape than most cryptoheros in my experience.

Either of you guys have a spare myrnae female floating around? My guy's all alone.

I'd really like to get a pair of the Costa Rican centrarchus but alas...not enough room!

Matt, the two fish i have in question are m/f so if they are correctly ID as myrnae then you can have the female or both if you want. They're both about 2"

OK - that would be awesome. I've had good luck breeding and spreading them around, so thanks for sharing :)

Gonna get some of the wild septemfasciatus from Jeff as well...

I need more tanks! All of these amazing species just can't keep them all. Besides that the species I do keep would kill most of the stuff I want...

If I order, can I pick up at April meeting? You live QUITE far from me, my friend! I'd just be ordering one fish, I believe... two at the worst. Right now, thinking possibly a parachromis loiselli, though I inquired to him about a freddie.
