JUST GOT OFF THE PHONE WITH MY MOTHER IN LAW WHO LIVES IN NASHVILLE. ITS ALL ON THE NEWS THERE. HE WAS FOUND WITH A BULLET IN HIS HEAD DOWNTOWN. DON'T KNOW ANY OTHER DETAILS. PRAYERS GO OUT TO HIS FAMILY. WHAT A SHAME. HOPE THEY GET WHO IS RESPONSIBLE.

I heard a stat yesterday.
It was on WBAL from a former Baltimore Colt.
A study showed 80% of all NFL players within the first 2 years of retirement either are broke, divorced, arrested or dead.
After being "the man" in rec league, high school, college and then the NFL, most players can not cope with being a "has been"/ retired person.
