Sounds like the guy is replacing the tank with a new one in situ.
I will warn you guys, though, I *HATE* Starphire. It scratches almost as easily as acrylic. You cannot repair scratches in it. So, if one of you all does buy it, be VERY careful with the starphire panels (not sure what "main panels" in the ad means. People are usually cheap and just do the front ... maybe he's also done side?).
As a rule, I treat Starphire like I would acrylic. No razor blades, no metal tools, extra super careful with gravel / sand, smart placement of rocks (nothing touching the glass or positioned so that it could tilt onto the glass), and all pads / tools rated for Acrylic and in good shape (white algae pads, not blue; plastic 'razors,' never metal, soft scrubs, etc.). The stuff is just so easy to scratch. And, once you put a scratch in it, there is no repair.
I really, really, hate Starphire.
For the record, I also see very little difference between it and regular glass.
I just hate the stuff.
