What size tank is the gar in? Is it a spotted/florida gar? I think I just need to man up and get one...

Its a tropical gar, Atractosteus tropicus. They only get 20-24" long so are the one of the smallest of the gar species. Its only in a 4x2x2 right now, but is getting upgraded to either a 7x3x3 or an 8x4x3.
