I'm getting 6 four to five inch rostratus. They are going into a four foot 33g tank. I also have a 29g that they can go in soon. What should the setup be? Are they breeding size yet. What should I feed them? Thanks

I would not keep these fish in anything less than a 75g and even that is pushing it. A 125g would be ideal for a breeding pair. As much as i'd like to move these guys, if your plan is to place them in the 33g, i will hold them for a better suited home.

Some PFS and flowerpots would be good. I'd do a sight break in the middle to allow two separate territories. I've found them to be relatively peaceful and slow growing.

4' tank is the minimum that I'd keep them in. 55 or 75 would be better than the 33g, especially for 6.

Can one pair fit in a 33g?

Not a full grown pair, but a 5 inch pair would be fine for a bit, but if you want to keep all six or a full grown pair, a 33 gallon probably wouldn't work that well. IMO. I'd suggest 40 breeder or 55. A 40 would be pushing it though.
