Sarah,
I have 4 Phyllonemus typus. How do you sex them and what did you do to get the to spawn.

Females have a different shaped mouth. A bit more tappered if you will. They are also a bit wider around the belly.

Lots of black worms, live fancy guppies and a 50% water change did the trick. If 2 share a pot you have a pair.

Actually just one ! It really just depends on where the tank is in the room is. For some reason I get easy shots in one tank and impossible shots in others. It has to do with the way the light is in that stupid room.

They are pretty cool fish ! I've wanted to keep these guys for years. These fish act and swim like Julidochromis

The spawn was a lot bigger than 3 ..... about 40 fry. Look for some at the next meeting Already had another spawn so I can tell I'm going to be swamped with fry !

What a great accomplishment Sarah! I think the BAP is really unique program another thing that CCA has that no other clubs do. I don’t think I will ever get as many points as you and others in the club, but as long as I beat Kevin I’m happy LOL!!! :lol: :happy0007:
