Definitely bummed to hear he passed. I did get to see them live once at the Tibetan Freedom Concert years ago. They rocked out.

The lightning strike was about 100 feet from where I was sitting. Sobered me up pretty quick. All in all it was a great show.

We were down on the field in front of it. Thought a bomb went off. The second day, we met this chick who had her hands bandaged up. Apparently, she was leaning forward on one of the handrails about 10 rows behind the strike and burned her hands contacting the rail. Luckily, no one was seriously injured.

Despite the accident, it was one of my most memorable shows. :happy0180:
