Have a co2 system running on a forty breeder heavily planted tank, lighting and co2 are on timer set to go on and off on a nine hour cycle... my problem is my lights are going off but the co2 continues to run, could it be the solenoid is "stuck open"??? Have tried unplugging the device to hopefully reset it (to no avail). Does anyone have any suggestions??? hate to continue to run co2 with no lights on

I think there's only one solution, and you know what that is.

You might be able to use a strong magnet to unstick it, but chances are, it'll just fail again. With it being open all the time, you run a big risk of CO2 levels reaching unacceptably high levels by morning. Plus, you're just wasting money.... I'd get a new solenoid on their ASAP

yes thats what i thought (no easy solution) it is a milwaukee regulator, and i guess i could unthread the solenoid but dont know if it would just be easier to buy new (lazy i guess) but not a super expensive unit

You should be able to get parts or a new regulator from www.championlighting.com
This is where many lfs order from for their customers. General wholesalers to lfs do not carry Milwaukee or many of the lighting brands found on this site.
