Question about astatoltilapia Latifasciata

In my internet research I have found that these fish are best kept in groups of six. I have a 56 gallon column which is 30"x18"24. I am considering a group including 2 males and four to six females. Would this work considering the tank is a tall rather than long? The males reach about 5". Would the tank be overcrowded?

I have only kept sp 44

But if they are anything a like.... I wouldn't try it. It's not the fact of over crowding... I just think this fish would be too aggressive for a 30 inch tank.

they will get up to 6 inches. sounds too small for this species. expecially a "colum" tank

any suggestions on a rock dwelling cichlid for a tank with those dimensions? Would Rock Kribensis work? What about ruby green Haps that Dogofwar has?

Kribs should work in this size of tank.
