Ptychochromis oligacanthus

Exported my big snarky Steatocranus tinanti (buffalohead) out of a 40B that has 6 P. oligacanthus (from Dave's Rare Fish/Aquamania buy) after a water change two days ago. Two sets of maybe 200 eggs this morning from two of the three pair covering a couple of flat stones, the third pair haven't quite figured it out yet but still very cool.

Cool! Not a lot of Madagascar cichlids here, as far as I know.

How do you pronounce the name? Is the "P" silent?

Looking forward to hearing an auctioneer say the name at a future meeting.
