Their may have been a new Apistogramma species discovered on a collection trip. It's being called the Apisotgramma SP. Gigas because it's the largest of the genus to date.

The author of the article (Sabaj Perez) is an ichthyologist out of Philadelphia. If you are still looking for speakers for the ACA maybe he could be tapped?

Hi guys,

did you already see the new Apsitogrammas I discovered last year (between many other new things)? Much is in DISCUSBOOK01 and some of it (but different ones) you all can see under EXPEDITIONS:
http://www.aquapress-bleher.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=blogsection&id=3&Itemid=40
or directly under:
http://www.aquapress-bleher.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=433&Itemid=40
including a video, also under:
http://www.aquapress-bleher.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=444&Itemid=40
and:
http://www.aquapress-bleher.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=444&Itemid=40

Enjoy now,

best regards
