Does it come in different colors? ie: Natural or white?

Not that I've seen. Different brands may be different colors though. I'll check the 1/2 bag that I have left at home for brand and color tonight and get back to you though.

I think it comes in only tan color, or the original color. Why put color on something that'll go in a filter? lol

It is light tank in its natural color but looks white in the tank.

I haven't seen much variation in color between brands (4-5). Also, in my experience the sand will turn a darker brown or green depending on your light load.

That's what I was curious about. I see tank pics that people have where it looks white in the tank. I went to the pool store yesterday and it looked tan/natural.

Do you have to wash it a 1000 times before its clean or is it pre washed?

It's probably the best washed non-aquarium specific sand there is. I don't bother and toss it right in.

Toss it in! It might cloud depending on your water/sand ratio, but it will settle within a day or two.
