Pleco Spawn

Hello All:

I have two albino plecos I got from Tony in April. They are in a 29g with 6 lemon jake juveniles. Lately, I have seen them hanging out in the foot of a robot ornament my 3 year-old picked out. This evening I looked at the tank and the pleco is lying on top of 50+ eggs. I am amazed. Should I move them to a different tank or just leave them be? What will I do with all these plecos?

Remove the Lemon Jakes...they need more room anyway.
Grow out the ABN's to a decent size and you can always bring them to the mini-auction.

You could always...

Give them to someone with algae issues. Not me of course - I couldn't possibly use more than 15-20.

My ABNs also spawned a few weeks back in a growout tank for EBRs. I moved the cave (with the male inside) to his own tank. Baby BNs are doing well for awhile now and I plan to move the male (with the cave) back to the original tank since it needs an algae cleaning. I typically get the babies up to an inch before splitting them up to different tanks that need cleaning. Before you know it, they will be big enough for BAP and/or LFS.
