I got some really cool plecos yesterday and some loricaria too, but I'm having trouble finding any info on them online and on planetcatfish. I bought a L288 Peckolita sp. "Red Tiger" and boy is it red, never seen anything like it really. Found 1 red pic online and it was on a few lists, but not much. I also got a LDA 28 Orange Lyretail Pleco that looks absolutely amazing but I can't find any info on it anywhere, except for a sale listings. It looks like a King Tiger w lyretail and crazy dots on front of face almost resembling a halftone. Also acquired a rusty faced loricaria.

Do any of you guys know and good places to research these beauties?

There is a story going on around here that I heard from 2 different LFS managers that a shipment headed for Europe was intercepted and the fish were confiscated and given to a distributor they use. Over the weekend I also grabbed a Giant Marbled Peruvian Whiptail and Loricaria lentiginous that was said to be part of that deal.

Thanks guys. I will give it a shot. Idk why but planetcatfish and mfk act up on my droid. Not having MFK problems since I downloaded the monster aquaria app. I will have to wait until I'm off work and use my laptop at home. I'm considering bying the other 4 or 5 orange lyretails and trying to breed them. I breed cichlids but never plecos. I have a big pair of sultans in a heaviy wooded tank right now too. I will try and take some vids over the next few days. Raising the pleco w/ my baby xingu peacock bass and red head tapajos in a grow out for now and I'm putting the 3 loricaria w/ 6 Geophagus neambi!

I got them locally at Rose Garden Center. I'm actually going to try and go buy the remaining 4 or 5 Orange Lyretail because I have never seen anything like them. Honestly, I think they look like a more intricute version of my leopard frog and I might try to breed them but have to research it more. I got the new Amazonas Magazine yesterday and its dedictaed to pleco breeding, so I might give it a shot.
