not my listing, just came across it while looking for other things. 13" fish currently in a 45 gallon tank! oh my. and the guy is requiring a 100 gallon tank for future home. the guy is so worried about the comfort of this fish and keeps it in a 45 gallon tank??

hopefully someone has a large tank that could get this guy?

wow for someone who has mistreated this fish for so long he sure has a lot of attitude about what he will and will not do with regards to this fish. ontop of that he wants a rehoming fee for a fish he has suffereing in a 45 gallon tank....UNBELIEVABLE!!!!

Gorgeous fish though....

i actually took a minute to write her an email recommending that she try and donate it to a local aquarium.

you're right, its a really great looking fish. wish i had a tank big enough.

EDIT - actually based on the picture it looks like its a lady that owns him.

Dude or lady; a piece of work, either way...

Congressional Aquarium "adopts" fish (at least that's what they told me regarding the piranhas)... That doesn't mean they carefully vet whoever buys them at a full-profit-price, but at least the poor guy would have some space.

You really can't properly feed a 13" fish in a 45 unless you're doing monster water changes twice weekly.

Not sure if the poster does or not, just sayin'....

Anybody in the club close to it, that has enough tank space to hold it until the next meeting? Then, it could be donated to the club for the auction. I'm sure we have a New World hobbyist that would take it for a cheap bid in the auction, no?

It's a good idea Rich, but not sure how he'd do in a 5 gallon bucket all day at the auction - even with an airpump. This dude needs to be transported straight from tank to tank.
