Placidochromis milomo, VC10

So a LFS has two of these guys in their tanks. I assume they are both males (referencing pictures online), but they have a divider in the tank. The colors seem washed out, but they are at good size (4-5"). I want to pick one of these guys up, but I no little about them. I just know they are very calm fish with some good colorings. Any advice?

I have a juvie of one of these guys. They're cool, but kind of ugly until they get their color. I saw the 2 in EA on monday, I think they are both male. They take a long time to develop color, but they'll always have those big lips. Definitely pretty peaceful and get to be a decent size.

I have one in my 125 an he is quite mellow. They are a bit odd looking ubntil the color starts to come in.

Once they color up they look really nice,it's worth the wait.
