Photos from my trip to Brazil

I was lucky enough to get to travel to Brazil two years ago and see the Rio Xingu before the Belo Monte dam destroys it. Here are some photos from the trip. I lived with a group of Indians called the Kayapo.

This is when I was made an honorary warrior for this particular tribe.

Sadly I dont have any pictures of the fish that we caught due to the fact that the canoes that they used to go out on excursions leaked water and didnt want to risk damaging my new camera and lenses. I do have several pictures of the fish from Peru though that I will create in a little bit.

Great photos! The Kayapo seem to be a very welcoming tribe.

They are or should I say were. Sadly, I have heard new reports that they are killing dam workers because the are coming on to their land and going to force them to relocate. Sad days ahead for the Kayapo I'm afraid.
