I have four Wild caught Scalare fo about 6 months now. They get along great with no fighting at all (yet). They eat like pigs and are growing nicely.

Tankmates in the 75g are a 5" lone male Australoheros Oblongum, 3 keyholes, a young green sev and some wild Apistos. Some pepper cories, tetras, and a roseline shark.

I keep the water at 76-78*. ph is 7.2. I am really enjoying this tank. What do you think?

This camera takes amazing macro shots, but you have to be too close.

Oh yeah,
Very nice.
That severum may get a little disruptive when he hits the 8 inch mark.
Mine always loved tearing the plants out of the gravel and such.
Really nice to watch

Really nice looking tank. I haven't kept angels since I first started(8years old) I just got some Peruvians myself they are really fun to watch. I'm hoping mine will breed and keep me supplied with new fish.

There is an Eheim 2026 ProII canister. And an AC110 with two stock sponges. I love the Eheim. Totally silent and no probs at all for almost two years.

50% water changes once a week and total clean every two months. This tank is very easy to maintain with not many messy fish in it.

Angels are wild caught. They were about silver dollar bodies when I got them.

I feed Ken's flake in AM and Ken's 1mm sinking pellets in the PM. Also veggie flakes a couple times a week. They really gobble the pellets from the sand.

Plants are fake :)

I didnt know if I would like the Angels or this tank scheme, but is alot of fun now. Tranquil but still plenty of interaction and things going on. Not sure if the Sev will fit in as it matures. Kind of a bully already.

Thanks...Bill
