Pelvicachromis kribensis Moliwe spawn

This is my first time having Pelvicachromis spawn and I have to say they are honestly my favorite fish (although I'll always have a soft spot for L. brevis). I can't get enough of watching them care for the fry. The male will snag a wayward fry now and again and spit them back into the coconut hut but he mostly patrols the perimeter. The poor female was trying to get all her babies tucked away for the night but they weren't cooperating, lol.

I'm thinking I'll have to pick up some more Pelvicachromis species in the future.

I use leaf litter in the tank and usually let it decompose in there hence all the junk floating around.

They really are awesome parents. I'm adding a pair of Pelvicachromis subocellatus to my collection from Ted Judy this week! I'm super excited about them!
