Their only five privately owned stores that I can think of. Tropical Lagoon, the store in wheaton, tfw, congressional and Aquarium one. I wonder which it is?

It looks like it is Tropical Fish World. Established in 1989 and room for expansion.

Congressional and Showcase(the store in wheaton) were established in the late 60s according to their websites. Aquarium One was opened in 2006.

I think its the planted tank over the koi pond in tfw but I could be wrong.

I think you are definitely on the right track. My wife always said I should open a high end store that is a golf store and LFS (two of my top obsessions). Adding a gentlemen's club on top of that would push it over the top. I am in! When do we start?
May be we can also add a few poker tables and we are set.

What does cash flow mean? The page said it's profit before tax plus whatever the owner is paid? What is paid to the owner? Would that be salary the owner will pay him/herself? If so, does that mean that that total income before tax for the store is $70K? If the owner doesn't work there fulltime and can keep his/her current fulltime job, then I suppose it's not a bad deal for investing $65K, but if the $70K includes owner's full time salary, then ouch!

It would be a shame to see it change ownership, but hopefully a fellow enthusiast can purchase the business and keep it going. TFW has a nice selection of fish and friendly staff.
