Our Fishroom

Since we are finally in a house I now have my fishroom. This is a very casual, low-tech fishroom  It's actually the dining room but the house has a 'breakfast nook' that's large enough for all 8 of us to eat in.

We're still on 'borrowed' internet and I don't have access to any photo editing programs on the laptop so please excuse photo quality

This is coming into the room from the front door/main hallway. On the left is a small 3g that is currently home to a female apisto, then my computer desk, and the 75g with my oscar. The shelving unit is all fish food. And of course all the fishy-decorations received as gifts...

This is to the right from the same entranceThe 30g currently has rummynoses, kuhliis and a gourami. We're getting 2 angels at the meeting this Saturday that will eventually go in this tank. The 2 small tanks are QT/hospital. The 29g was my first tank. When we moved my daughter took over care of the tank and did the aquascaping. No cichlids there: pair of pearl gouramis, platies, BN. And the 20g has a pair of cons plus fry of course lol

Finally another shot from the second doorway, which leads to the kitchen (and that's a Bobby Phillips photo on the wall above the 3g :p )

Very nice Theresa.

Hopefully you did not loose anything in the move.

The first time I moved I lost a lot of fish.
The second time I moved I had gotten out of fish for a while.
Do not look forward to another move......
Except if the house were to have a bare basement.
Now if your new house has a basement, I am sure some of us could draw up something to fill it...

This is actually the second time I've moved with fish. We moved from a 3rd floor apartment so this was a big project done over a few days.

Unfortunately we lost one of our favorite fish, a severum that was quarter-sized when purchased, close to 7" at the time of the move. We were all upset about it, the kids didn't even want to get another sev :(

We have a large basement but it's finished. One bedroom, a full bath, laundry room, and 3 other rooms.
