I was thinking since I now have 2 alligator gars and a rtc. I should start digging a moat around the house. They can patrol the perimeter when they out grow the tank. Lol

That's not entirely ridiculous. You could use PVC piping to make a small hoop greenhouse over the whole moat for during the winter and with a few pond heaters you could do that.
