Hey John.. we rent out the high school cafeteria for a few hours. Basically doors open one hour prior to the meeting beginning. Folks come in and bring in the fish they have for auction and private sales. They also bring in chips drinks food stuff for everyone to share and snack on through out the meeting. Lots of hand shaking and registering fish, memberships etc in this first hour. Everyone wears name tags so it is a good time to put faces to names from here on the forum. All fish to be auctioned are set out on the sales table and folks crowd around checking out what there is to bid on. After that opening hour everyone settles down for the "presentation" of the day and guest speaker. The guest speaker will talk or present for an hour or so and after their presentation we hold the auction of the fish which were registered and brought in. Once the auction is over everyone splits. LOL
