Newbie in NY

Hi everybody,



After more than 10 years without a tank......i wasn't able to resist anymore......
That 's why couple weeks ago i run to buy a brand new 65 gallons to do put cichlids.

I would like to know if there is any cichlids club or association on long island?
I'm asking you that because i' m a french man who arrived here 2 years ago, and have no connections at all.

Welcome to the CCA! Not sure about any clubs up in your area. I think there is one in New Jersey.

East Coast Cichlids(http://eastcoastcichlids.org) would probably be a good place to start for finding fish and a local club.

There are several all-species clubs in the NY area. Long Island A.S., Nassau County, Brooklyn, Greater City, and North Jersey. Several more up in CT. Check on http://northeastcouncil.org for a list and links.

Welcome! Where in NY are you from? I'm from the DC area but attend college just west of the finger lakes region. I'm getting the impression that you are from Long Island.
