Newbie has a basic question.

Okay, this may be a stupid question to ya'll but I joined this forum to get some reliable answers so I'm gonna just go for it, haha. I put a new decoration in my aquarium about a month ago and it has white spots on it...is this normal or do I need to alter something in my tank?? I've tried to take a picture but the app won't let me upload pics for some reason, says I'm not logged in, but I definitely am.....

Can you describe the decoration? Are the spots smooth and flat, raised, or fluffy?

Do you have snails in the tank?
Might be snail eggs (nerits eggs)

I changed my app settings and got it to upload I don't have anything other than two Africans in the tank. Hope this helps...also got one of my whole tank so y'all could see what I'm working with...any advice is welcome.
