Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Rachel and I work with Mike (DiscusnAfricans) and Craig (Rasta Fish). I recently aquired a 75g tank thanks to Tony (Tony), and Mike a couple weeks ago. Working on getting all this fish stuff down. Did my own solo water change last night. (ok the dog helped so I guess it wasn't solo) I look forward to all the advice!

Welcome to the forum. What are you planning on keeping in that tank? Don't let those guys suck you into Lake Malugli fish. :)

Right now I am keeping mostly Peacocks. I am still trying to get their names down. I know out of the 8 I have an OB Peacock, and a Afra Cobu. (Mike's going to tease me about not being able to remember all of them.) HAHA!

Welcome to the forum. You will start to get the names down as you go. I cant remember all that stuff either, Mike on the other hand is a walking book of knowledge!

Good to see you on here, Rachel. I'm glad that tank setup is treating you all right. :)

Stick with Mike. He is a Malawi pro and will steer you in the right direction. Ignore these folks talking smack about Malawi fish... they're just jealous. :p

This forum is the best there is out there in terms of getting great answers from great folks. It's just a bonus that they happen to be local and have some awesome meetings and events often.

Don't be afraid to ask questions here... this is the greatest club around!

Glad to see you on the forum Rachel. Theres a lot of great people on the forum that can help with anything. Tony and I will help you out with the fish, the names will come with time. Books are always handy, and google will find you anything. The resources of the club will have you a fish expert in no time.
