Hello Everyone!

I'm Jeffrey Lucas from Fayetteville, NC. I have a 110(4ft) and a 300(8ft) African tanks. My favorites are the Peacocks and Fronts are my close second. I just set my 300 gallon:eek: up a few months back and I'm looking just to have a great variety of color. I'm hoping to get some great ideas and help from this family of Cichlid Lovers because I'm no expert at all.:)

I do have some pics but not real good ones...so bear with me as I get up to speed.

I'm currently running two Fx5's because I only have a few fish in it right now. Hoping to change that real soon!!! By the way I'm looking for some NICE size Clown Loaches...Sooo thanks for the invite and here we go!!!

Welcome to the forum, Jeffrey.

That 300 is a sick setup for sure. I'm a mostly African guy myself.

What do you have stocked in each tank? Are you doing groups of fish or single males?

Thanks...

Tony...So far I have:

1 Yellow Banga (male)
1 Lwanda (Pair)
1 Synodontis Catfish
1 Blue Botia (Redfin Loach)
1 Blue Lobster (Crayfish)
2 Yellow Labs
1 Red Jewel (male)
1 Acei (male)
1 Reeka Red (female)

I do have 3 other females not sure of the names....but I do have some fry in some cracks and corners.:D

In the near future I am looking forward to doing an all male tank. So any help would be nice with finding some nice fry..

In the 110 I have 5 OB fry, 1 Synodontis Catfish, 1 Red Shoulder (male)...

But here are a few more pics I found on my phone...

Looking good, Jeffrey.

Watch out for crossbreeding with those peacocks... they will most likely. If you aren't looking to sell.distribute them, then it's no big deal though.

All-male Malawi tanks are always fun to watch. Lots of action, lots of color. With that 300, you can get some big boys if you'd like - large predators, Protomelas, Fossies... some pretty cool stuff.
