My Nic pair

Had these guys almost two years. I believe that they are siblings as they came frome the same tank at 1" and both dont show much blue.

They are a bonded pair but wont spawn, although they do go through all the motions.

That's a nice looking pair. The other fish look good too. Give it more time and I bet you will be pleasantly surprised. Are you at all concerned about the cories sneaking into the cave and eating any eggs, should there be some at some point?

Fatten them up with some earthworms or red wigglers... that'll do the trick...

LOL. I have kind of given up on them breeding. They have been doing this same routine for over a year. If it happens, it happens. No plans to keep fry as they are not from the best stock.

This community tank was supposed to be all females originally. I bought the two Nics at 1", hoping for a pretty female. The pair formed and I kept them together.

I consider this tank "overstocked to perfection". It is an awesome tank to watch and everybody is pretty well behaved.

and recently added a gorgeous male HRP from Matt which is fine now, but im sure I will regret later.

Also 2 BN Plecos, 6 Black Ruby Barbs and6 misc cories. They have all been together for almost two years since juvies.
