my fish history

Hello and nice to be here. I see a few names I recognize from other forums or simply my time in the hobby. My hobbyist career, more or less as follows:

Had fish a few years as a youngster. Went quite a few very busy years preoccupied with other things but always remembered fish as being interesting and relaxing. Little over 20 years ago I started up the hobby again. After trying out all sorts of fish in my tanks, I settled primarily on discus for several years, then specialized in Malawi peacocks/haps--did a lot of breeding of them-- all the while keeping a smattering of green terrors, severums, fronts, small Tanganyikans, etc., then got the front bug for some years (still have some) then cycled back to an interest in new worlds, geos in particular-- lot of new ones available since I last had any, though I've only tinkered a bit so far.

Right now have something of a mixed bag. Few Kapampa fronts, several rotkeil severums, including some pairs, juvie EBJD, smattering of juvie geos, Z rocks lithobates in various stages, from fry to adults-- I've got these breeding all the time, occasionally I save a spawn, as tank space allows.

Had a lot more going not too long ago, but the past couple of years I've been super busy and cut way back. Right now 5 tanks, 50-135.

Thanks for the welcome.

Rarely took fish photos until a couple of years ago and haven't taken any for a while, so they're limited and mostly of my Kapampa fronts. But here's a couple of things from a year or two ago.
