My custom 55 gal tank stand and canopy build

Here are the pictures that I have taken to date for the custom 55 gal stand and canopy that I am building. I got the original plans from another forum and then modified the plans to fit my needs. The stand will house 2- 10 gal tanks, one for snails and maybe a pair of one of the small shell dwellers from Lake Tanganyika for activity (same water parameters of my main tank) with the 55 gal on top of the stand. The other 10 gal will be a hospital/fry tank. Took some engineering to fit both into the stand but was able to figure it out. The doors in the picture where the 10 gal tanks will be will be hung above the tank to hide the black plastic pieces and anything else I decide to put on the top portion.

I decided to build the custom stand and canopy since I will be putting new wood floors where my tank is now and I can swap it with the current store bought stand at the same time to limit stress. This stand also couldn't come at a better time since I have 2 Rusties currently holding. Can't wait to move to a house so I can get a bigger tank.

Been a while and had to put finishing the doors and canopy on hold until the new kitchen was finished. Moved the tank into the new kitchen this past weekend. I hope to restart the doors and canopy in September when I get other projects finished. Stand is not in the optimum place by the door but is on tile instead of hardwood floors. This is also the only other place with enough room.
