My "ANIMAL ROOM" Build Thread!

I am transforming my "bedroom" into an "animal room" it already has 7 fish tanks, 2 reptile tanks, and my guinea pigs in it. To make a ling story short, i am not just plopping a few tanks down and calling it a fish room. Not AT ALL. I am going all out to make it a large showcase display and effective breeding space for all types of animals.

Here are all the things I will be doing:
-Repainting Walls
-New Carpet
-Building custom shelving
-building custom breeding racks
-Setting up a 55 gallon with my tetrafauna viquarium waterfall filter system. DISPLAY TANK. Will have day geckos and fish.
-Buying 2 exo terra display tanks
-Buying geckos
-Breeding Geckos
- Buying Green Cheek Conure Parrot
-Setting up conure cage
-ALOT MORE!

So as you can see this is going to be an awesome project! I am updating this thread daily.

1st tank to show off. My 10 gallon breeding pair of jewel cichlids! Really nice tank. Painted back snd walls and bottom. Filtration is AMAZING. I have a HOB on each side of divider. One is a 50 gallon aquaclear. Needless to say, water is pretty clear
This tank will be staying in the room.

Unfortunately since i am taking these pics in middle of water change the male is not colored up cause he is stressed

I was actually thinking a hammock or a futon. I can always just sleep in my basement though.

My 4 year old black ghost knife
(Got him from "exotic aquatics" if anybody remembers that good ole store )

Wow! Really?!? I NEED to check that out! It was my favorite shop!

And no not forever. black ghosts can get 12"+ but mine has only grown a couple inches in 4 years (SLOW GROWERS) so he is set for a while.

What kind of reptiles do you have?

Currently: bearded dragons (breeding pair)

I will be getting day geckos leopard geckos crested geckos (to breed) and will get my tegu as a pet and a few others.
