Muriatic acid question

I finally bought some to test the rocks I pick up or buy, but I am unsure about how to apply it to the rocks without burning or killing myself.

Anyone have experience applying this stuff?

I used Muriatic Acid (the stuff from Home Depot used for cleaning concrete) to recharge Deionization Units I had. Used rubber gloves and goggles. I never have any issues and even splashed some on my skin, it felt like sun burn.

Yes they will work. I would still wear gloves and goggles. You want to work in a well ventilated area

when i use it i do it outdoors and stand upwind. always a good idea to use goggles and acid resistant gloves.

trying to remember from geology class, but i'm pretty sure we just used vinegar (acetic acid) and an eye dropper to test rocks.
