So, as of this AM, I have another batch of Guianacara sp. eggs. These guys are prolific once they get going... It is a pretty big batch.

Thanks guys. I can't wait 'til the next meeting so I can share some of the first batch around the club and put my very first BAP submission in the auction :). I'm very excited that these guys are such happy fish.

That said, I think the dad is the same male as last time. Seems he's a bit of a philanderer. About 2 weeks ago he stopped helping guard the first batch of fry (mom is still guarding the ones I left in the 55) and started courting another female... I thought it was just one other female, turns out he's courting two - one's got eggs so now he's focusing on another who has dug a cave under a piece of slate.
