Marineland Heater Question

I am running a marineland heater in one of my tanks (the black shatterproof one with the light in the temp dial on top). When feeding the tank today I noticed that the temp had dropped about 6 degrees. The light on the heater is green so I turned it up 2 degrees to see if it would kick on the red light. Nothing changed and the light stayed green. I unplugged it for five minutes and plugged it back in and the light stayed green.

Anyone know if there is some way to reset the thermostat? The heater is only about 4 months old.
