Manzanita Sources?

I took a trip out to California a few years ago and sent back a couple pieces of manzanita. Unfortunately, as you all probably have realized, manzanita doesn't grow naturally on the East Coast.

Where do you get your exotic woods from? (I tried to be careful with my word choice but think I failed)

I've been looking at the retailers on PlantedTank and, while it's nice to see exactly what you're getting, I'm trying to balance out the best price option.

A couple other sources I've been examining are wedding decoration/arts and crafts sites. These seem like very cost efficient options.

Anybody ordered from a place like this or have another source to recommend?

I also have a friend living out in NoCal that has already tried to send me a package of some. It apparently got lost by USPS and fell into a black hole...May try that again.

I was about to say that too, but I don't know if she ships the manzanita. Might be worth asking, though.

If you have friends in Arizona or Oregon, they also could get you some quite easily.

Batfish (Josh) sometimes has some.

I usually buy from either Josh or Rachel.
